Attention All Racers!!

For the 2011 Racing Season All Cars All Classes Will Have to Abide by The 95 Decibel Noise Level as a Western Speedway Rule! This means everyone should look at putting enough muffler on you cars to insure you are at or below this level.

2011 WESTERN SPEEDWAY RULES

+ADDENDUM TO BOMBER RULES 2011

  • 3100 lb minimum weight
  • NO Goodyear RSAs or Falkon tires permitted
  • BF Goodrich radial T/A with 400 tread wear is the recommended Bomber tire
  • Minimum tread ware is 400
  • Tire Claim by Western Promotions only
  • If tread ware can not be read on tire we will assume it is softer than 400
  • We will institute a 20 second break out rule
  • If in any event a competitor goes under 20 seconds on My Laps scoring they will be DQd from that event only.
  • If break out occurs during qualifying car will start at rear of all events for that night
  • If you break out at any time only points for that event will be given up,At no time will break out cause you to lose pay
  • If you breakout during an event Driver will be black flagged and scoring will stop
  • Western Speedway will host a no charger Bomber practice before the first race with Transponders set up

  • 2011 Hornet Rules/Bumble Bees – same as last year with:
  • +ADDENDUM TO HORNET RULES 2011

    • No X’s beside numbers
    • No triple numbers, except Radio cars (e.g. 100.3, etc.)
    • Must wear Snell 95 or newer helmets.2000 recommended
    • All Rookie and Bumble Bee cars must have an R or a B beside the car number everywhere number appears on the car
    • All Rookie cars must also have an R on the windshield and trunk TV panel of the car
    • Ride height must be minimum 6-1/2 inches from ground to jacking plates behind front wheels and in front of back wheels
    • TIRES: All three numbers must be the same on all four tires (e.g. 195 60/14)

  • 2011 Late Models Rules – same as the Katana Sportsman Tour
  • 2011 Shock Rules for Demo Cars: Front shocks must be in shock location, top and bottom; Rear shocks must be in shock mounting location on the bottom (they may be relocated on the top; After market shocks are allowed.
